Does anyone know if there are silver lightscribe dvd's available? I am not a huge fan of gold, and sliver should yield a darker print.

I am hoping that a silver color will come available for darker printing results.

I bought an inkjet printer which prints on CDs/DVDs for about $100 (HP C5280 on sale) and bought some inkjet printable discs. I use SureThing CD/DVD Labeler software with it. With this setup, you can print full-color, high-quality labels with pictures on your discs. They look great.
Yeah, I still use lightscribe when I want that ghostly golden print effect on something special, but not very often. It just takes too long. edit: btw, The inkjet printable discs I use are HP brand and they let me print almost to the center hub with great print quality.
