I am looking at ordering a pc from DS and was going to get a dual loop IC on the pc. I had a few questions. 1. How good is the stock IC that DS puts on their PC.
2. I was looking at this rad http://www.hwlabs.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=11&Itemid=8 are they any good?
3. Noise is no problem for me. I am going for looks and will get led fans.
4. If I get Hardware Labs rad what are some good pump/res and what type of tubing do you recomend?
5. What size rad should I get? I was looking at the hw black ice 420 gtx whick is a triple 140 mm rad.
This whould be my first pc with ic. Any info would help thanks Edited by hotshot146 - 22 Jul 2011 at 10:46pm |

1. DS LC system is decent, but if you want better performance you need better/bigger rads.
2. Yes those are good but they work best with high cfm fans. my rear rad is the blackice gtx 420. but there are better rads that work with low cfm fans so they are quiet also. checkout the xspc "rx" series rads, and then put Scythe gentle typhoon fans on them, you will get great results from that. 3. its not just noise, its performance too. 4. your rad does not really matter to the current pumps on the market they will all do well have a look here for more info on parts 5. follow the link I posted, that should answer your questions, if you have anymore, come back and post them here. for performance would it be better to go with the xspc "rx" series rad with low cfm fans or go with the blackice rad with high cfm fans. I am going with a triple rad would it be better to put the fans in push/pull config What size tubing would be best?

xspc rx with low cfm would give you best performance.
push/pull is nice to have. 1/2 tube is nice. |

Upto you, either would do great. I normally recommend the 1450.
