How does the Asetek LCLC stack up to the Stage 3 Frostbite cooling. I know the cooling can't be as good on the Asetek but I wonder just how far off it is from the Stage 3 H2O cooling.

If you are going LC go frostbite or forget it, you can get the same performance that Asetek gives you from Noctua NH-U12P.

what about a q9650 oc stage 1 with the frostbite cooler would this be a good route to go or bad?

it would be a very good option
though you could get good performance from an air cooler the people who pick the stage 2 oc would benefit most from liquid cooling |

I was going to go with the 2 oc but i was told it would be more stable at the oc stage 1.

it should be able to go 4.0+ghz and be at a stable state i would think.
