Yes frostbite is the best LC system, and should give you better load temps.

To elaborate on DST4ME's post:

The Asetek LCLC (the cheaper option) is a maintenance free option that is pre-assembled by Asetek as one unit and all DSO does is mount it to the processor and mount the radiator/fan assembly somewhere in the case.  These units are rated for 50k hours and as Alex has stated in another post are giving them slightly better temps than their air cooling options.  This is a cpu only cooling option.

The frostbite cooling (the slightly more expensive option) is a liquid cooling system assembled by the digital storm technicians using swiftech and dangerden components.  This system would have a reservoir that may require the addition of coolant from time to time (rarely as I understand it) but provides VASTLY superior temperature control while under load on your cpu.  You can choose to have the frostbite cooling on both cpu and gpu for an overall quieter and cooler running tower.

they are rated for 50K but what is the exact warranty for it?

Also like to point out that frostbite gives superior performance due the fact that it has superior parts, DD or swiftech pump(2 of the best pumps around, almost identical really), GTX rad (one of the top rads out there next to thermochill and feser TFC), swiftech reservoir, tygon tubes, put together with great craftsmanship, comparing asetek and frostbite is truly unfair to frostbite and its in a league of its own.

That's a great question DST4ME and honestly one in which I don't have the answer.  Maybe Alex can give the answer for that.  I would feel that the Asetek LCLC is at least covered for the 3 year warranty that DSO offers with all it's systems.  Beyond that I'm not sure if Asetek covers it.

There's no argument that the Frostbite liquid cooling is superior in every respect and is well worth the cost charged here.  You will not find another boutique builder doing liquid cooling with these parts for this price.

Ya DS is great, nobody else would do it and if they did it would not be the same great parts and craftsmanship.

It is covered under 3 year warranty that is true, but only place I could find reference about warranty, was a third party site and it said one year.

also replacing fans on a heatsink is extremely easy to do vs changing asetek system in case.

Don't get me wrong asetek is ok, but for me I would either go Noctua or I would go Frostebite.

Even if the Asetek comes with a 1 year warranty, we will back it with our superior 3 year no matter what since it's going into the system.

Ya we all agree on that Alex, but do you happen to know what the manufacturer warranty is on it? that is the one we are having problem finding info on.

TIA
