Hey all, I am at Linuxworld at the San Francisco Moscone Center and I have to say, it is VERY crowded! But I did just get here, but I have to say that there isn't much difference from last year. I am going to walk around more and update with more highlights. I am really looking forward to the LinuxGaming booth. I am really curious to see what they have going on! Ok, I will update later. MMmmmm.... geeek grrrrllssssss :) |

Then we would have to offer tech support for an OS that we are totally unfamiliar with. Our tesing applications would not work nor our imaging applications. A very good idea though! :) |

Actually Robert is very right. I think I am the only person at DS who is capable of supporting Linux, but, honestly I don't want that kind of drama. That is a WHOLE new can of worms ;)
Besides, the only thing that was at Linuxworld today in the GamingonLinux booth was mainly focusing on game servers. Very disappointing since there is like, next to none games for linux. :( I went today for the sole purpose of checking out the new games for linux, but found that there are like 5 games or something like that that would work natively. Everything else you would need VMWare or other MS emulators. Maybe next year. Edited by Kelly - 10 Aug 2007 at 1:53am |
