The SSD is best for the OS of course, apps you use for browsing the web, word processing; other productivity programs you use like data bases or spreadsheets, printer controls, etc. You also want all the programs you like for virus scanning, malware and adware searching, internet garbage cleaning. Also any utiliies you want to be able to keep tabs on what's happening behind the scenes with your hardware. You can find some advice for those in "Computer Related"> "Software Discussion"> "Must have Software" and "Recommended Security Software" on this Forum.

There may be some room left for a few of your top favorite games to go there so they'll load faster.

The hardrive should be allocated for the rest of your games library, photos, video clips and miscellaneous storage of all kinds you don't need constant access to. Depending on which SSD you got, it will either be a lot faster than your HDD, or insanely faster than your HDD.
