So, as many here know I have a new DS rig on the way.  This will be my 2nd DS pc as I am a repeat customer (& probably for life).  So I went in to the customer service to look up/print out my current order for my records.  I happen to look on my shelf as it was printing out and there sits my binder for my current machine.  So I pull it out and look thru it and see my order #.  So I put that info in and it's still there after almost 3 years.  So, here's what you could get three years ago!!  lol

All that I have added is my Sound Blaster Audigy sound card and some additional LED case fans.  I also put the fan grill on that was on my old Alienware.

Yeah I noticed the price was pretty similar.....scary, huh!  The system is still pretty good, but my wife is quitting her job in a few weeks to finish her Master's Degree.  I know I'll want a new pc in the next two years so I figured just get one now and then she'll have this current DS pc for her own usage. lol  She wants my current Logitech G15 keyboard though too.....she really likes it.  So, twist my arm I will be getting a new keyboard too......another G15 I love it too plus it's the new updated one. Hmm...she never said anything about the mouse?  I hope she's not planning on having that too?  Hug

LOL...as far as a floppy drive.  I just had to have it when I ordered my old one.  Still thought I might need it.  Truth is, I have never used it!!  My one on order does not have a floppy drive.....am I cRazY?  Smile

And....I screwed up when I put the order in as far as the two writer drives.  I wrote in to DS but never got a response to just put a normal DVD drive in.  I will need to follow up with them on that.  That's my only complaint so far.  Now the system is built and has been shipped Sleepy.  Not a huge thing, but I should have gotten a response on it I inquired about that BEFORE it got out of stage1.  It's not a huge price difference (like $13 bucks), but I still should have been able to get that changed.
