Looking for a good WoW Laptop

I've started only recently looking for a good gaming lap top, and I have high hopes now that I've found this website. I've been considering finding a lap top for awhile now, and a friend of mine told me about making a custom one off this website, and he loves his to death to this very day. I am a nerd, but I have to admit that I know very little about computer parts and their functions. I'm slowly researching and reading about all the tiny bits and pieces that make up the whole of a well functioning machine, but I'm still struggling with a slow pace. Now, what I'm looking for exactly is a good lap top that can play World of Warcraft on max, or near max setting with minimal frame rate issues. My price range is about $1000-$2000, so I have room to play. I want to pay one time for something that will last me a good long while. I plan to also use this for some college related assignments as well, but that isn't to system demanding anyway. Right now I'm looking at the preconfigured models, and the A15V2 at $1829 looks to be good. But as an uneducated computer enthusiast, I honestly can't say I know even half of all the tiny specifications. I plan to use this computer for other games as well, but as long as I can crank out some high results from WoW, I'll be more than satisfied with whatever I can visually obtain from other games, be it minimal settings or even max.

My family has 3 laptops and all play WoW at max but they do heat up after a time. Two are the HP 8710w T9500 2.66 Ghz with 4 meg ram. One is a Toshiba running close to the same specs. I think heat is an issue for gaming laptops unless you get a well built one, but I could be wrong. If you get one that runs WoW and other games without heating up, by that I mean the keys getting almost too hot to type on, please let me know. Good luck to you.

Well so far so good then. Looks like I may stick with a good, preconfigured Digital Storm lap top. A good lap top and a helpful mat or other cooling aid and I'll be playing World of Warcraft with the best of visuals in no time! Thanks for all the comments so far guys!
