I have put together a configuration that I would appreciate some of you more advanced guru's looking over to see if this would work out for me.
I will be mostly doing photo/video composition, some music work, digitization of various items ie: records, slides, etc. I might get into some game playing, but right now that is not a high priority.
I am looking at a budget of $3000-3500. The monitor is listed in the configuration and is a 24.6" Samsung.
The configuration is: 630049.

Thanks for your help! Big%20Smile

Ask DS specifically for this fan to be added to the top, so you endup with 4 x 200mm fans:

haf 200mm non led fan

Ask for vcore lower then 1.4 for your oc.

for monitor you want one of these:

Dell UltraSharp U2412M

Dell UltraSharp u2312

for about $500 more I can put you in the new platform with a 6 core cpu if you have use for it.

for the res of these monitors you gonna want sli 570 for gaming, what I did was config the system so that it can do dual sli but gave you one gpu, if you want we can add the second gpu now or you can add it later yourself if you need it.

fan upgrade is loud and not needed.

mcafee sucks get ESET Smart Security, it has a 30 day full free trial, try it first then buy a license after 30 days I love it and highly recommend it.

get your ms office and etc from newegg.

they are out of the haf x here you need to order it from newegg and have it shipped to ds so they can use it for your config.

You can ask DS to order it for you from newegg but the cost will endup being $50 more.

if you are a prime member of amazon, you can have it shipped for free from amazon.
