I am new to these forums and like what i have read so far about Digital Storm in general. I would like to get some ideas on configurations. I am looking to stay fairly cheap on this computer and hope to have room to grow. I will be using it for gaming and the internet and would like to keep the cost around $1500. I will be purchasing a new monitor more then likely in the 24 range with no more then 1900 X 1200 resolution. I all ready have in my possesion speakers, keyboard, and mouse.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

At $1500 you wont have much room to grow in the future as some components like the power supply will most likely need to be upgraded.

Here is what I would recommend, it is a little over your budget but will perform excellently with the new monitor you are purchasing.

also with that platform (p55) you can't upgrade the cpu either.

see if you can raise your budget and go with a 920 and x58 platform so that you can upgrade to the new 6 core cpu coming out in 2010, whenever you are ready to upgrade to it down the road.
