Budget:
2000 - 2200 Expectations: Be able to upgrade components like RAM or HDD on my own so the case needs to be easy to get into and components should be easy access. Usage: Mainly used for home office and some minor gaming. I mainly play MMOs like Rift, SWToR, GoE, and a few others. Digital Storm spoiled me with the my first Vanguish so wanted to get a next level machine. Currently use Logitech surround sound speaker and Dell 23 inch monitor. Special Needs: None Saved Ticket #: 1720245 Specifications: Nothing specific at this time. Justed wanted the next level machine above the Vanguish that fits withing my budget. My Comments: I do not do any VR gaming and really don't plan on it any time soon so in the config 1720245 I dropped the video card from 8 gig to 6 gig. Should I upgrade this to Win10 Pro? Is the remote lighting system worth the upgrade? Wasn't sure if system game with default lights like the Vanguish level 4 that I have currently. Any advice on this config or similar config would be helpful. Thanks ahead time. |

Build looks good I would get 1070 if you can and the h115 for cp cooler.
Also look at x299, if I'm not mistaken you can go with quad core now but upgrade to 10 core or higher if you wanted to, just keep in mind it will be the couple from current line and not future cpu-s, you will also need to upgrade ram with it. I been away for a while so BP or db will correct me if I'm mistaken. You don't need to upgrade to Pro but I use some features so I always go pro, look at the difference and see if you have use for extra features like bitlock The lights are cool from pics I've seen, I think it's a personal choice Edited by DST4ME - 20 Aug 2017 at 4:47pm |

Without a doubt I would get the lighting and LED Fans . Also possible hydro lite on CPU only. That way you can swap cards easily as they progress. You said you wanted the next level. I would save another $100.00 and get the LED fans for sure. The Hydrolux lite on CPU would run another $283.00. With the back to school discount might make it little easier. From experience I can tell you these upgrades make world of difference to the aesthetics. if you can manage the extra funds. If not will still perform like a beast. Keep everyone updated and post review with photos after you receive and test. good thoughts your way Edited by FR3SHM3AT - 21 Aug 2017 at 9:41am |

i'd invest in a better air cooler. Kaby's run hot and even though you have a locked proc it couldn't hurt.
thoughts on RGB lighting effects: completely unnecessary unless the aesthetics matters to you. i have and Avenutum 3 with all the bling and tbh, i turn it all off when i'm using it. i only turn it on to show it off. i don't like the lighting casting onto my monitors and distorting what's on screen. lighting is probably the last concern for budget considerations, and if it would hold back a more serviceable upgrade to performance, then forget about it. |

i think you guys are crazy. No ones sitting there playing with there lights couple days after they get them, but the average buyer hasn't experienced it. Heck might as well just go slade and hide it under a desk.
Lights are bare minimum extra . If funds permit . Cheap enough. And the hydrolux lite extra premium, but I would get it or an AIO One just looks nicer than the other and performs better. You all say you turn your lights off and I have RGB but only keep it all blue . Yet we all bought them And we all enjoyed them Just my opinion . Don't beat me up to bad Get the lights Get the hydrolux lite And in review tell these guys how happy you were you did |

After seeing all the lights on your rig. I could understand why you wouldn't want on next build. Has to be like the Aurora Borealis in your room at night [heck probably glows in the daylight. ps. Bet you end up with lights though |
