Well, the most cost effective thing to do would be to just add another 470, the problem is finding one that hasn't been used or refurbished (if that isn't an issue for you, then they are easy to come by). Given the difficulty of finding a decently priced new 470, if I were in your situation I would probably just buy a 570 and forgo SLI for the time being. In regards to your RAM, any specific reason you are going up to 12GB? If its just for gaming increasing your RAM to 6GB would be plenty and save you some money.

My friend just bought 2 sticks of 4g 1600 corsair vengance. the heat spreading spikes on the ram took up to much room because oh his huge heat sink. so im getting those for 40$. i understand its an overkill but its a good deal.

Hi maxomia,

Before you can consider going SLI you need to know if your Mobo will support SLI. It it won't, your only choice is to single Gpu or upgrade the Mobo.

The 570 would be a good choice but I would wait until the 6xx comes out. That would be a big jump in power over the 470.
