I've got one that's got me stumped. I just installed Windows 7 on the dual boot DS computer (was XP & Vista), but that's another story. Everything seems cool, but now on the XP side I've lost the "num lock". Keyboard light says it's on, but it's not. Computer beeps when the "num lock" is turned on or off (this doesn't happen on the Windows 7 side). I've tried a number of "work arounds" from the Microsoft site but nothing works. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Bigrock

Well, I called in the computer expert in the family (my nine year old grandson) and he had the answer. Apparently, a keyboard shortcut stroke had disabled the num lock. My grandson found the "on-off" feature under the "Accessibility Options" in the control panel. Glad someone in the family knows something about computers.
