I have a new build underway at DS with the Lumos Case.

Space-wise, I could set the new computer under my desk, or, on top of a table adjacent to my desk.

I assume the 2 top fans on the Lumos are exhaust rather than intake fans. If so, the case will be exhausting warm air to the underside of the table top if I place the computer under the desk.

Does anyone know what the minimum recommended clearances are around the sides and top of the Lumos case, in order to provide efficient air flow?

You can look up the excellent Corsair Crystal Series 570X ATX Case on Corsairs website.   I own one.    Your best bet is up on tabletop where it gets far less dust and good air.   Besides, Lumos is a freaking work of tech art so it should be up where you can show that off...lol. You'll likely keep it cleaner if it's up on a table as well.   Cleaner = best performance.

Thanks.
I downloaded the Corsair User Manual, but it did not mention any dimensions on how far to position the case from walls, table tops, etc. The only reason I would hesitate to put the case on top of my table would be to minimize the sight of all the connecting cables to the computer. But, maybe with some zip ties I could make it look fairly clean.

BTW, I have seen a YouTube unboxing of a Lumos and the inside end of the PSU cover was left open, exposing some unsightly wires. However, I have also seen other photos of the Lumos case where the PSU cover was completely encased with a metal plate on the end.

Does your Lumos case have a plate on the inside end of the PSU enclosure?

All Encased.

Zip ties trimmed nice and/or black wire flex covers make the external cables less visible, but we all need to access the back panel at times.     I use a desk riser platform right behind the monitors so the side window faces front and top half of the rig shows above the monitors.   .

Thanks, I'll do some experimenting once the machine arrives to find that optimum location/look.
