i am thinking about replacing my 6 year old Dreadnaught and
I have a question about the Liquid cooling on the Lumos.

I was going to use the Corsair H100I 240mm.
Has anyone had them put it on the top?
If so did they set up to blow out from the case?
Should it be set up that way?

Hi Nomad.

Good quality AIO cooler.   You will find that Corsair and everybody else making coolers will prefer their radiator fans mounted as intakes for coolest fresh air and lower CPU temps.   Realities of where you put it on a case may require it to be exhaust.

Lumos is actually the excellent Corsair Crystal 570X
ATX case.    With 120mm fans, the case has 3 front fan mounts, 2 top mounts, and one exhaust rear mount.   Generally the front fans will all be intakes, so DS likes to place coolers in front if it works out.   They also use the top position, as they did with my son's HydroPro Lite cooler, and his rad fans are set as intakes.

Normally in a more sealed type case you wouldn't want 5 intakes and only 1 exhaust...but Lumos is open vented between the glass case edges and has a mesh back...so in this case it works well...lol.

Here is is funny. I read that and thought "darn, that will put all the CPU heat into the case." And then I realized that I have a big air cooler and guess what? All the heat is sent into the center of the case.

HockeyBuck, I see that in your Lumos purchase you got the LL fans. Did they put 6 LL fans in?

Yes DS will use Corsair LL Series 120mm fans on all 6 mounts..
Solid performance fans, and an amazing look with user controllable RGB LEDs on both the center fan hub and fan guard ring.
