Hello everyone,
I just received my Lumos build and everything is working great except for the single fan at the back of the case. The fan is running but the RGB lighting isn’t on or working. I didn’t have much time to look inside the computer last night because I didn’t get it from UPS until 8:00 pm. I’m hoping to get a better look at it later tonight once I am off work. In all the videos of the lumos I looked at the single fan at the back had rgb lighting. My config code is 2103540 I did special order the kraken x52 instead of the cooling unit in the config code and I got the MSI gaming trio rtx 2080 instead of the graphics card in the config code as well. The Lumos doesn’t come with rear fan, or led fans, as default. Just 3front fans. The specs below the selection describe with more info. The picture isn’t representative of a standard build.
That said, your added Thermaltake fans are RGB and need to be plugged into a controller, probably behind the right side glass. Check where the fan wire goes. Might take some hunting depending on how tight the wiring is bundled. I would first, check the rear fan is the Thermaltake , hub should have the name, and second, how many does the kit give you. Not sure.

Yeah you’re right. There is no thermaltake fan in the back. It should be easy enough to install one thought right? I’ve never worked on a computer before lol.

Changing a fan is relatively easy, especially if it’s not hooked to a radiator. If you get another Thermaltake then check you have another controller slot open. Maybe you can double up but not sure with that fan.
Good luck and let us know.
