Lycosa is way better. I've owned a lot of keyboards and the Lycosa is by far my favorite.
It's simple, clean, has rubberized/low profile keys (feel great), and it looks sexy. |

The Mirror just has makes the keys glossy, seems like a downgrade IMO.
Roccat Kone, G5 and G9 (if it fits your hand) are the best mice out right now. Tried all of Razer's mice and hated them for lack of weight customization and their poor ergonomics. |

The lycosa has gotten many bad reviews because the rubber keys wear off the mirror version is in response to unsatisfied lycosa users whose keyboards wore out.

IN continuation to what Xpubu was saying. Basically they removed the whole rubber thing on the keypads so that the wearing isn't there.
Lycosa was gonna be my choice, but since the Mirror version appeared, I decided to switch to purchasing that one. Edited by Axel Daemon - 22 Nov 2008 at 3:00am |

I use my keyboard heavily and have owned it since release, zero problems and certainly no rubbing off.

my lycosa lost its rubber on its WASD keys within a month of use, i think it maybe just certain people, my fingers apparently get very oily lol....but yes if you have oily fingers, avoid the regular version and get the mirror finish one. Otherwise youll lose the rubber on your keys in no time at all. My keyboard looks horrible now cause of it, because the blue background lighting shines though the whole key now instead of forming the letters lol
