I just ordered the Lynx 4 ultimate am I able to take advantadge of the over $2000 upgrade, or are components automatically upgraded if the buyer prices change? Thanks so much. |

The Lynx "Ultimate" is a fixed parts list for a fixed price. Your answer lies in what you want to spend on this. The Lynx is a great value, but sacrifices the stronger CPU, better motherboard, and the NVMe primary SSD. IMHO, you will be unlikely to even notice that you don't have a more "cutting edge" CPU/mobo until you are ready for a whole new rig several years from now. The 2070 GPU is a bit overkill for 1080p. Whether that's a bonus or not is your call. If you really want to save with little harm done to performance, get the Lynx "Best" model. The only difference is a smaller SSD and a still very serviceable 2060 GPU, but no more 2070 overreach.

What about a 144 1080 monitor? Are they really better than 60 hz monitors for gaming? I had a 19 inch 4x3 monitor Can I still do 4 x3 for some games that need it? |

I game at 1080p and 60 Hz and am perfectly happy with that, so I don't know for sure. AFIK, games will adapt to fit the screen you have when you select your monitor resolution in the video options.
