I’m getting closer to buying a Lynx level 4, but my only issue with the config is the blower style GPU it comes with. I would much rather have a Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme 2070. Does anyone know if that card will work or even fit in the Lynx?

The Lynx level 4 is the best bang for the buck in the DS lineup.
I’m not sure they will substitute components on the Lynx prebuilt. That 3 fan 2070 would work fine, but the Lynx line has pre-set components to save on the cost. You could ask DS if they would order the Gigabyte 2070 for that build instead, but it would likely cost you more and may delay your build. DS can get anything you wish if you are willing to pay the cost and wait for it. |

Ok I’m just not 100 percent sold on a blower card, so I will probably try to get the Gigabyte card

If we put together a very similar custom Lumos build, using the less expensive Lynx case, you would definitely be allowed to have DS order your preferred video card...just ask them and they will tell you a price to order and sub that card in. Here is a Lumnos build like described for about $594 more. The improvements that are possible make it worth the added investment...but the Lynx Level 4 is definitely a great deal at just $2K.

Thank you for making this config. It is a lot better and I’m going to save the extra money to get this one. I’m still going to try to get a special order card, I feel like it will be worth it.

Another excellent 3 fan 2070 model I would recommend for you...
The EVGA ICX cooler/ massive heatsink performance is top notch! I have the EVGA RTX 2080 FTW3 Ultra version. EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING |
