I was just wondering if the Lynx 1 comes with a graphics card of any kind. When I got mine there was no graphics card but I'm watching videos of some 12-year-olds on youtube opening their computer and they have graphics cards in them. I'm just a little confused.

Congratulations and welcome to DS. ![]() The Lynx Lvl 1 has no video card. A lot of people buy it and immediately upgrade it by installing one. When you install one, the cpu graphics output is disabled and you have to connect to the video card to get its improvement.

Can anyone recommend a good graphics card that can fit on the lynx 1s mojo? When I first got it in November it had 8 gb of ram. I upgraded it to 16 gb of ram from the Corsair vengeance series. The problem with those is that they are big. Just need a graphics card that works well with the mobo

Your power supply will handle up to a 2070 SUPER. What card you want is a matter of budget and monitor resolution. A very solid card if your monitor is 1920x 1080 resolution (called 1080p) and fixed at 60 frames per second would be a GTX 1650 SUPER at about $170. They go up in power and price from there.
You could share with us your current monitor specs if you wish. What you'd like to spend would also help. Almost any card will fit your PCIe slot, but the power requirements cap you at an RTX 2070. The RAM is not in the way. Edited by Cretae - 24 Mar 2020 at 4:26am |
