Mac Guy coming back to PC

Imagine my displeasure when after a year of being away from WoW, I cam back only to discover that my old iMac could no longer achieve more the 2 fps (or something absurdly low) after all the Cataclysm updates.

Hence, I've decided to come back to PC, so I can play games again, and have a machine that I can upgrade and so on and so forth. I considered building myself, but then I discovered DS, and now I'm enamored.

I was looking at the Enix and the build I am considering is:

Any comments on the build? I want to be able to play WoW and try out all the other games that I have been skipping for years... I want to play skyrim, crysis II, and be able to play new games that are released over the next few years. I'm not against upgrading the graphics card in the future. I'm not going to run multiple screens as I don't have the space. I have a 27" LED Viewsonic that I'll be using as my display.

I would like to be able to run Lightroom 3 and CS 5 efficiently and smoothly as I gradually move away from my mac. Those are the only other computing intensive activity I do.

I skipped liquid cooling as I read that it can be tough to change the RAM on the Enix with the LC system installed. And since the case is designed to move air, it seemed sensible to stick with an air cooled system.

A buddy pointed out that two graphics cards makes it more complicated when 1 fails a year after I get the machine and I either have to find a versiion of the original or replace with two. He pointed out that I will likely want a newer card in that event and I'll end up replacing a perfectly good card... So, I think I will just go with one card, no SLi. Also, If I am content with running the most demanding games on only high settings, not Max settings, then I won't really care if I don't have the best card or a dual card set up.

Anything wrong with this thinking? This build? How's that processer stack up? How about the mother board? Should I upgrade? I was thinking about the Asus Sabertooth, but I'm not really sure I understand the advantages.

Ode would eat your enix case for snack, I would not go with enix if you paid me.

If you are ok with turning things down single 570 is what you want, if you play games that need more vram then go with the 2.5GB version of 570.

forget ode 2 its a waste of your money, ode 1 for single or ode 3 for sli.

for $2k budget a custom config with single gpu will be a bit more reliable and better in some areas, but we can't beat ode prices.

For single gpu system yes you should go with ode 1 and then get your own ssd and clone to ssd and use ssd as hdd1 for os/apps/games and push the hdd to hdd2 for storage.

forget blackops, you can't get the haf x's airflow there and the same system with same performance but less airflow will endup $300 more over there.
