I will be using this PC mainly for gaming. I wanted to be sure that I could enjoy most games at the highest settings and some lowered to increase FPS for competitive play.

Is liquid cooling the GPU something to consider?

Is an 850W power supply sufficient?

Would it be wise to consider an Airflow Control option?

I will admit, I could spend the time to do the research and get close to an answer I feel comfortable with. But the community here seems to be somewhat of an authority and I trust your opinions.

Thank you for your time!

The build looks fine as far as performance goes.

850W is plenty. I have the Velox, same cpu and gpu but running all the RGB fans, RGB Ram, 3080 and have plenty of power.

Air Flow Control, dunno....... will let others answer.

Liquid cooling the GPU is a lot of extra cost and not needed unless you were in to extreme overclocking the GPU. The Velox has excellent air flow. I did have to set my fan speeds in iCue (for the Corsair RGB fans and controller) to "Balanced" from "Quiet" to run little cooler temps on the card. They weren't real high, just added piece of mind for me.

I suppose you have seen my message to others that the Intel platform is the soon-obsolete PCIe Generation 3, and AMD is all Gen 4 and has been for a year. The performance difference is not a deal-breaker, but all the parts you may add in future years will be Gen 4, and underperform to varying degrees on your platform. I have to say it in case it matters. Given the shortage of some AMD CPUs, and the lack of reliable supply, it makes it tough to go with the better platform.

There is no gaming use for 64 GB of RAM. Between dropping 32 GB of that and an airflow controller, you'd have enough for the Corsair LL series RGB fans. Both colors and speeds are controlled from the iCue free software as fwfdfireman said. It may be you don't like RGB, and that's perfectly understandable, but if it's okay by you, get the fans and the free Internal Lighting, instaed of the RAM which will stand idle.

I was able to set a fan profile for my CPU radiator in the UEFI BIOS, but it's a Corsair all-in-one.

The rest of your build is fine.

I will never be able to recommend what I consider to be "the nightmare" of custom cooling. I just have way better things to do with my time than monitoring for leaks and maintaining regularly. If it does leak, it's pretty much of a very bad time.

Hope it helps.
