malware

i got my dreadnaught this past monday and am slowly setting it up.  i went to the tech hub to download the temp programs. real temp downloaded and installed with no problem. when i went to cpuid to download the hw monitor.  the download was from zdnet and before i knew it crap was being diownloaded like pc optimizer, wajam, sweet belly or something, which changed my homepage,  arcade game something or other,  i stopped the install as quivkly as i could . deleted  the programs from the control panel, ran nortons full system scans several times ...found only cookies, and rebooted the computer.  everything seems normsl, which is bothersome in a way since it seems you have to clean your registry to get rid of that optimizer crap.anyway im kinda bummed and wondering if should start  over,luckily  i got the advanced recovery option.  anyway just be carefull with downloads from znet there was a complaint about this in early may from someone else..  the good nres is that real temp shows mycpu and gpu maxing out in the loq thirties.

ZNET or CNET?

It's owned by CBS and it's crap, use to be good many years ago, but now it has too much other preloaded junk.
