I need to do some upgrading on case fans for my Silverstone Raven RV01. What I need to know is how exactly do manual fan controllers work. You know, the ones with a knob that you hook up your fan to. Does it allow you to switch between speeds higher or lower than the current speed? I'm going to replace my current fan to a blue LED 700 RPM set speed fan. Will a fan controller hooked up to it allow it to switch between 500~1300 rpm like most controllable fans? Or another speed variation?

if all your fan can do is 700 then that is as high as its gonna go.
get yourself some quiet fans that have a good cfm, and you can control them a fan controller. |
