The Marauder is going to be slightly faster due to the better graphics card, however, the Bolt is overclocked.

It's a touch choice, both are good, it'll depend if you want a small slim tower or a big one.

I doubt the bolt is going to 'overheat.' Usually things overheat within 5-15 minutes or they don't overheat for years (or until something changes in the cooling).

If you're worried ab degredation due to constant near overheating like I have witnessed in the last 2 gaming laptops I've had, I get your concern but I dont think a 3.6 inch thick tower is going to have the same issues as a .5 inch thick laptop that only has half of its surface area exposed.

I haven't looked closely at the Bolt but if its still mostly "open" in that you can alter parts on your own like a dreadnaught or marauder, I say go for it. If its mostly proprietary parts (which I highly, highlyhighlyhighlyhighly doubt DS is going to do, ever) then I'd 100% go with the marauder. Dell/Gateway and most recently Apple scared me away from proprietary components for life.

The Bolt does not overheat, if it did, our team would not be selling it.

I had to choose between the Bolt and the Marauder. I ended up getting the Marauder. I don't know about you but when it comes to cleaning out a computer and/or upgrading it, I like to have space to move in between parts. Anyways both computers are very similar.
