Media Laptop

Hey guys,

My primary concern here is the quality of the laptop chassis. I am looking for some feedback on the build quality and stability of these notebook systems. I will be using the system for music production/performance and want a sturdy build that can hopefully withstand any unexpected punishment. I also plan to use the machine for mobile/preliminary video editing when I do not have access to my full setup. For those interested in giving some advice here is what I have specced out so far...

I am mostly looking for advice from people who have purchased a Digital Storm laptop and can speak to the quality of the chassis/build. Any other advice/criticism is welcome, though. Thanks for your time.

The build quality on the laptops is great. They aren't tuffbooks, but, if you handle them carefully, they will be perfectly fine, a nice padded carrying case would be perfect.

To be honest, all of the models are the same, and they are electronic components that are sensitive to moisture and short falls.

The 3610 Has an extra 2 cores, in addition to a larger cache. It would be much faster, but it will also be slightly warmer, although none of the processors will get extraordinarily hot.
