    Posted: 16 Dec 2008 at 3:52pm
Posted earlier about my new i7 rig having been received with bios defaults set and CPU thus lost its overclock.  Randy from DS squared me away on the changes necessary to OC to CPU, I neglected to talk to him about the memory OC (which I had also ordered, fans are on the memory per part of that).

Anyway, here are some screnshots from CPU-Z, does anyone see anything that jumps out about the memory?  I had ordered the "memory boost" for the 6GB DDR3 1333MHz Corsair DHX ordered.

Thanks.

Dan

Educate me, please.  How did you calculate the 1400 from that info?  Thanks much.

your DRAM frequency is half the speed of your ram. so if it was say 800mhz then your ram would be 1600mhz speed.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong , but i'm almost 100 percent sure on that .

That is correct, 1400MHz (700x2).
