I was wondering if someone here could help me out.  I bought an internal memory card reader, and am having difficulty figuring out where to plug in the 9-pin connector on my mobo.  Thanks in advance for the help.

Processor: Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz (Quad Core)
Motherboard: EVGA X58 3X SLI (Intel X58 Chipset) (Supports Triple SLI or CrossFire)
System Memory: 3GB DDR3 1333MHz Corsair Dominator DHX (High-Performance)
Power Supply: 750W Corsair TX (Dual SLI Compatible)
Card Reader: - No Thanks
Hard Drive Set 1: Operating System: 1x (320GB Western Digital (16MB Cache) (7200 RPM) (SATA)
Set 1 Raid Options: - No Thanks
Hard Drive Set 2: Multimedia\Data: - No Thanks
Hard Drive Set 3: Backup\Misc.: - No Thanks

that is called a USB 2.0 Header Connector, if I'm not mistaken, there should be 2 of them on your mobo and they are blue if I'm not mistaken

if you can give me the make and model of your reader I can double check

It's just some cheap reader I bought for $15, and doesn't even have a label on it. I'm almost certain you are correct with it being a USB 2.0 plug.  Problem is they are both in use.  I think one of them is connected to sata/usb plugs on the Cooler Master HAF case.  I'm not sure what the other one is hooked up to as DS did the wiring.  Thanks for your response and help :)

Kind of an unrelated question regarding the memory card reader...

The internal option is the one installed in the case right?
