I was wondering if someone here could help me out. I bought an internal memory card reader, and am having difficulty figuring out where to plug in the 9-pin connector on my mobo. Thanks in advance for the help.

that is called a USB 2.0 Header Connector, if I'm not mistaken, there should be 2 of them on your mobo and they are blue if I'm not mistaken
if you can give me the make and model of your reader I can double check Edited by DST4ME - 07 Jun 2009 at 4:05pm |

It's just some cheap reader I bought for $15, and doesn't even have a label on it. I'm almost certain you are correct with it being a USB 2.0 plug. Problem is they are both in use. I think one of them is connected to sata/usb plugs on the Cooler Master HAF case. I'm not sure what the other one is hooked up to as DS did the wiring. Thanks for your response and help :) |

Kind of an unrelated question regarding the memory card reader...
The internal option is the one installed in the case right? |
