How many PCI slots does the Marauder lvl 3 motherboard come with? I was interested in upgrading the 8 GB DDR3 to 16 GB in the next couple of months. Will I need 2 (8GB) sticks or 4 (4GB) sticks?

The mobo on the Marauder 3, the Asus P8Z77-V LX, has 2x Pciex16 slots, 2x Pci2x1 slots and 3x Pci slots I believe for various cards like the video card, any sound card or wifi card you might want..
It also has four memory slots. It comes with 2x 4GB , leaving the other 2 slots able to take another 2x 4GB sticks. Or you could take out the 4gb sticks and use 2x 8Gb sticks, but that would just be more$$. Hope this helps

One more question:
Once I add the extra 2x 4GB DDR3 to the motherboard (total of 16GB memory), will I need a larger PSU? I currently have the 600W Corsair. Thanks! |

Nope. Memory sticks draw in the ballpark of 1.65 volts at maybe 2 watts of power .
Should be good to go.
