Will the new PC come with a MemTest CD? The CD will become out of date quickly because there are always new versions of MemTest at http://www.memtest.org.

My ticket number is 244938. I have ordered this configuration yesterday but it takes 15 days to receive it. Will the memtest86 cd be included and is the cd the same as the one from www.memtest86.com? |

not sure to be honest, I'm just a customer, but you can just download and burn memtest, so the CD is no big deal.

The version of memtest we include in customers' binders is the version we used to actually test their computers.
Though newer versions of memtest come out we have to verify that they are stable and actually work that is why you usually won't see the newest version of memtest in the binder. Usually a new memtest version isn't going to spot an error that the older memtest wouldn't detect. Regards, Alex |
