Hi All,

Sadly, my new DS computer has microphone issues.  Here is my config:

I spoke to DS technical support which is researching the issue further but they suggested posting to this forum.  I also called Razer who didn't have any solutions.

I'm getting no sound out of my headset or my standalone mic.  The headset is an older Logitech headset.  It works fine on my friend's 32-bit Vista system. (mine's 64 bit)

I've plugged the mic and headset in 2 possible locations: the Razer card dongle for mic and for line in.  Neither get a signal.

Can I possibly use the coolermaster case's mic port, or the motherboard mic port, as a solution?  Or if you have other suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks!

Tom

Heya Harleyman... yeah, plugged it into the sound card using the 6-plug dongle.  Been through enabling and disabling stuff to no avail, at least for the soundcard.

Whoops, I'll repost this to the more appropriate technical issue discussion...
