I just bought a digital storm computer and i have a plug in microhpone ( green and pink plugs ) and ive tried it in every socket color cordinated and i cant get it to work , on my last computer i never had to change any settings but i was wondering with vista if i had to( LIke output device etc ) or change volume settings , i can hear ppl talk but i cannot talk back help plz ><

( I use ventrilo )

are you using a sound card or onboard audio?

Check you audio control panel. There should be a setting in there to enable the microphone.
