Hi im new to the forums here, but i wanted to get your honest opinions what is the best bang for $$.
Im looking for a mid level pc: my price range is $1100-$1300 No need for a monitor as ill be buying it elsewhere, but i will be needing a mouse and keyboard, not looking to use sli 1 video card is enough, here it the build i made: 426952 ; im open to all suggestions. THNX. |

Im liking the idea of the core i5. Id like to know if i should go for the video card overclocking also and if the cooling option is good enough? thnx.

ok, now do you think its best to go the i5 and later upgrade my motherboard to fit in a newer processor or go for an i7 for upgradability, take into consideration that when i say upgrade i mean upgrading in about 3-5 years from now.
Second does overclocking the processor have any downsides to it?? for example does it decrease its lifetime, etc.?? do the pros overweight the cons? Edited by Joe - 31 Jul 2010 at 4:18pm |
