i stumbled across this this morning when i was trying to look up the brand of my CPU heatsink.
All this time i thought the fan latched to the heatsink was a DSO mod that encompassed the ram fan...
my order:
Cooling: Air Cooled Stage 2 (Silent Artic Cooling Heat-sink (Copper Heatpipes)
Overclock Memory: Yes, Overclock the memory timings (Includes Corsair Dominator Airflow Fan) heres the problem
this is what i have:
this is my processor cooler:
this is " Corsair Dominator Airflow Fan"

needless to say i was not happy to learn this.

Yes, you are supposed to get ram fans if you have a memory overclock reguardless of Cooling stages. Were your ram timings overclocked when you got your machine? They might of not done that too.

I think the problem he has is he didnt get the ram fan you are supposed to get when you select the please overclock my memory timings option. That or they never did the overclock in the first place and he didnt get that and the fan....probably charged him for it though lol.

!ender_,
I apologize for your experience. I will have the fan for your RAM shipped out immediately. Again, I apologize and will talk to my technical staff to see what is going on and why that was seriously overlooked. Warmest regards, Alex Brown |
