Hey I was wondering if the 650i Ultra (non-SLI) mobo was sufficient enough to run the GTX 260 216 core. Is it better to get the 680/780 SLI even though I don't plan on necessarily getting another vid card? Also, I read it is mostly evga or XFX video cards and mobo's being used. Is it definitely one or the other for either the vidcard or mobo? Is the GTX 260 216 the SuperClocked...I read there's one that runs a clock speed of 575MHz and one that runs it at 626MHz...it's not a big deal for me but I am just curious. So basically, for one GTX 260 216 core is the nForce 650i Ultra good enough or should I get something better? I only see 4 different MOBO's available from the options. Will the 650i bottleneck the 260 at all? Also, I plan on getting the E8400 Duo Core. Is that fast enough to maximize the full capacity of the video card? Same with the mobo. Thanks a lot.

I think the 680i SLI can run the GTX260 in SLI...And yes, eventhough the E8400 isnt new its a pretty good bang for the buck. Back to the MOBO, im not sure to be honest but i think you end up better spending 86$ more or whatever it costs to the 680 SLI so you can upgrade in the future. Youre best set-up for the money at the moment is:216389 <---ticket number imho GOOD LUCK!!

No problem, you should wait until January 8th though. Thats when the 285 and 295 cards are comeing out and the prices going to drop. Not sure if the i7 processor prices will drop though.
