Just got the new Centurylink fiber optic in the area 100mbs is what I am told. Anyone have some suggestions on Modems and Wireless routers. I have 3 teenage sons with laptops and gaming systems so looking for the best setup any budget.

For the Fiber Optic, what kind of connection does that use from the wall to your modem?

Unfortunately I can't recommend much in the way of a fiber optic modem on the basis of personal experience (for your type of Fiber Optic). You might check to see if either Motorola or Zoom makes anything that would work for you, both companies produce excellent modems.

However, I HIGHLY recommend the Asus RT-N66 router, it is an absolute beast and will easily handle anything you throw at it (so long as you have the modem to support your optimal speeds).
