Have a new problem, Playing the Witcher 2, and my monitor turned to complete black, then turned back on again. The monitors light did not change or anything.

It kept flickering to black a few times, then stayed black. Couldent do anything, and had to reset computer. Got a windows did not shut down properly message. Got some more black flickering at the desktop. Anyone know the causes of this? Is the monitor going bad? Sucks since I just got it.
Just played Crysis 2, got into the main menu, and black flickering off and on. Great cant play any game now it seems. :( Also happening during internet browsing here and there. I pray this is just the monitor and not my gpu or something in the computer.

Thanks for any tips.

Hey i have the same monitor. got it for a great deal :)

is it just playing witcher 2? or on the desktop too?
If it is just in games its a driver problem. if chunks were not loading ect it would be a gpu problem but since its going black its a driver problem...
are there any loose cables going into the monitor if it flickers on the desktop?

take a look in the event logs and see what you come up with.
