   Man its been a long time since i've been on these forums, miss everyone if any of my old pals are still around
anyhoo, so im doing some monitor shopping. wanted to get some opinions. i've been off the tech scene for a little while, ive been very busy. lucky for me i got all the info i needed at the time to get a great overclock out of my current dso system, and its still working well but im coming close to 3 years with it so i think ill be coming back to see whats new and when to buy

the choices:

its pretty much coming down to the left most 2 choices, the Acer V243HAJbd and ASUS VH236HL-P. Im definately open to new ideas in the same price range, depending on bang for the buck. I coudlnt care less about speakers on the monitor, i wouldnt even hook it up given my already availible sound options. Starting 210 +~$50

I basically just use photoshop for painting and editing, occasionally do some video editing in vegas, and play lots of games, mw2, sc2beta, l4d, me2, ac2, crysis1/2

I dont know if i have sensitive eyes or if everyone sees it but i have to stay in the 2-3 ms response range, i had a 5ms monitor before my current ( ACER 19" 2-3ms 75Hz 1280x1024) and I find there to be a blatant difference ( last monitor was also 75Hz ) between 5 and 2/3 ms. so really my only qualifications for a monitor are 
price < 250
response = 2 or 3
refresh >= 75

interested to see what everyone has to say.
