Hey guys my Extreme one is scheduled for delivery this monday and I'm going to be picking up a new monitor for the bad boy at the local best buy. I'm looking at either 1680x1050 or 1900x1080. I wanted 1900x1200 but they don't any at that res so I was wondering if I would have any problems with playing games at 1900x1080 since I know most benchmarks are 1900x1200 instead of that.

Oh and if your interested here are the temps I got for my Extreme 1 build Tell me what you think.

Of course you wouldn't have any trouble playing at that resoltion. 1920x1080 is HD (as in 1080i or 1080p). 1920x1200 is close to HD but is a 16:10 ratio instead of 16:9. The problem with 1920x1200 monitors is that anything that is in HD (ie, 1080i/p or 720i/p, or a 16:9 ratio), such as ps3/xbox360 games, or anything at an HD resolution such as downloaded videos or HD movies, would be stretched and look kinda funny if you played them full screen.

However, computer games should not have any issue playing at 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 unless they for some reason do not have those resolutions available.
