Before I start, i'm not the biggest PC know-all out there.
So i'm on one monitor and tomorrow i'll be getting my 2nd, some cheapo 60hz just to put chrome and slobs on. My question is, would plugging this into my HDMI on my motherboard cause any problems? |

Usually if you have an active graphics card, your motherboard HDMI port should be disabled. Use a free HDMI or DP socket on your graphics card.

The graphics cards usually have plastic caps covering the monitor ports if your thinking yours only has one. Just remove the caps and use adapters like hdmi to Display Port for example if needed.

On the same card as the main monitor, if you have more than one. Then go to the Nvidia Control Panel/Display/Set up multiple displays and configure them. |
