Sorry to post this in this section... didnt know where else to put it

I'm using the G Force Experience. My computer specs are below.

With a 27" monitor, it automatically puts it at the 1200 resolution. What is a good mid range resolution? 1600 x what? 1040/900? I'm trying to play around with it to see what is really going to help me out.

I'm playing BF4 and COD: Ghost. Even at the full 1900x1080, I get really good fps. BUT, I want to truly dominate.

Any thoughts?

I would run your monitor on its native resolution. That's what it is optimized to run for best quality.

Have fun.

I believe that's a 1920x1080 resolution..  If so, then that's what it should be set to.  Big%20Smile

Compared to setting it to a lower resolution, like 1680x1050, then yes, the fps would be , a guess, would be about 20% less, but you also lose the screen quality.  Still good, though.

I don't picture your gtx 780 having much trouble with a single 1920x1080 resolution.  That is a great card.  Up to you, of course.

What they all said^

My understanding is that you should always keep your monitor at its native 1080p resolution in your case. If you want more FPS then lower the in game graphics settings, not your monitor resolution.

I personally DO have to lower my resolution to 720p on my laptop because it simply doesn't have enough horsepower to run it's native 900p in a playable state even on low graphics settings. But as others have said, you wont have that problem with your machine.

Sweet... Thanks guys! This is my first "real" gaming machine. Never had anything like this before. Just want to make sure I'm getting everything out of it!
