I just bought the ODE 3 and it is on the way here soon passsed QA on Saturday. I have a 22" Dell 1080p monitor now. I was thinking of buying a 24" Dell ultrasharp and use the 22 as the second screen for like music, websites ect. But only gaming on the 24". My question is with the ODE 3 set up is that the way to go and is 24" the right size or can i squeeze 27 out of it? If not no biggie I got a good monitior just wanted better. Thanks ahead of time.

This will be for 90% gaming. MMO's, RPG's, light FPS.

Hi Omicron....Congrats on your ODE 3 purchase....The 27" monitor at 1920x1080 would be great. Resolution of 2560x 1600 would definitely be a problem if you game on maxed out, ultra settings. On lowered settings I believe the higher res. might do it, but not really sure.
Sticking to a 24" or 27" monitor at 1920x1080 is great gaming with your sli setup.

Great thanks for the pointers. 27" at 1080 maybe 1920x1200 but not over that. That really helps alot. Thanks again brat22 and Tidxor.
PS it shipped today should have it Friday if the Fed Ex tracking is right. |
