I just bought a 22' LG L227WTG Monitor. I notice ever off-white/light gray color has a pink tint to it. I didn't have this problem with my older monitor so it isn't the graphics card. What is the problem, should i return the monitor?

i have installed nivida and the montiors drivers still pink.

When I first read your post I thought, "Hmm, I've never seen that before."

Then I looked carefully at my old Sony 23" display, and compared it to my Apple 30" display. The Sony does have a pinkish hue wherever it's supposed to be white. It's subtle, but definitely there. I suppose it might just be a color matching problem that could be fixed by messing with your Nvidia settings.

However, given that it's a new monitor, maybe you should just try a different one. I dunno. What do the other members think?

Have you tried just adjusting the monitor controls? Sometimes monitors are poorly adjusted from the factory. The only ones I've ever owned that were fairly close to color-correct right out of the box were Samsung. Most are artificially shifted toward green, blue, or red. Just tweak the color controls on the monitor to get it to look better. Sometimes they have several presets that you can select from. If all else fails, take it back.

Yeah, you might even try to find the most recent version of the monitor driver on their web site, just to be sure. After all that, if you still don't like the color, I'd try swapping for another.
