Topic: More then 4 GB Posted: 06 Oct 2007 at 3:37pm |
My search fu is weak and I could not find this topic covered before, so here goes.
I am interested in 64-bit Vista[Thanks DS for offering this!] and 8GB of RAM (simply because I am insane, you won't find a logical reason). The configuration pages only go up to 4 GB, and I could probably start there but, the pages implied that all 4 GB configurations take all 4 slots. Whats the best approach to configuring for more ram at DigitalStorm? Also, it looks like the case I wanted is a month out. Feel free to put some speculation in as to what I may have to do in November on the configuration. |

If I remember Monday, I'll call. Tried now forgetting it was Saturday. (I've been in surgery this week, so cut me just a little slack). Till then if anyone has any intel on the situation, I'll be checking here.

I am posting this for someone using the search feature later.
DS does not offer 2 GB sticks at this time and thus does not offer a 8 GB configuration. They offered to custom order them but also suggested I (as SkyR suggested) make the upgrade myself. |
