I'm new to PC building/upgrading and I'm looking to upgrade my motherboard in my Lynx PC. I want an ROG Strix mobo, can a full sized ATX mobo fit in a Lynx case that originally came with a Micro ATX mobo?

Yes. If you look at the Lynx custom section you'll see ATX size boards in the configurator. DS uses a Micro ATX for keeping cost down in a prebuilt not because of size limitations.
