Alex why don't DS carry a nice variety of MM mods?
I think a storm happening in there would look amazing and have amazing performance for ultra high-end, I sure could go for one of these: MountainMods.com click here to visit their site

Well for people like me/you that would want it, space is something we would make for it, I would have to lose a end table over this or move stuff around a bit
they let you customise the heck out of these, this is just one line out of like 8 models, check out the link I provided you will see for yourself. they have single, they have dual, they have vertical, they have horizontal Edited by DST4ME - 01 Mar 2009 at 8:52pm |

Good idea! We haven't looked into this to be honest. I don't know if it would have enough popular demand due to its size and weight.

I totally understand, but I can assure you, if you offered one, some of us high-end buyers would get one.
but I mean if I ordered one, I could totally understand if I had to wait while you guys ordered it and it got to you guys.
I'm sure I'm not alone, lol I would be willing to bet it will go better then the 1050si

No worries. We can always special order it. We built a system around a Mountain Mod case before for a customer here.

I wasn't to fond of it to be honest. I prefer the classic never ending style of the 950Si. |

I liked the 950Si a lot, too. Pictures on your site really don't do the 950Si justice. I was blown away by how much nicer it looks in person. It is a really sharp looking and solid case. I just needed the extra cooling of the HAF for my situation.
edit: Checked out that link on the custom cases and they were great except I'm really surprised they don't offer bigger fans on the systems. The cases are huge, so why stick with 120mm max size on the fans? That said, I probably would have tried to get one of those cases originally, too. Future expandability has to be insane on those cases. Edited by BillDempsey - 03 Mar 2009 at 1:57pm |

I like these cases, but I would only get them if I was gonna get that Phase Change cooler that DST talks about

My two problems with the 950si is the 7 expansion slots and lack of space for a triple rad.. It would be the greatest case if it had 8-10 exp slots and room for a bigger rad. Other then that, it is one of the most visually appealing cases in my opinion.
I think the raven case by silverstone was a big step down from some of there work in the past. The case looks very cheap and has an overall to much plastic feel to it. Not to mention the cooling is very sub par, only thing I like about it would be the air filters.
I feel as if DS should carry a larger case in terms of expansion slots.. Out of all the cases on the site, there isn't one that can take advantage of the new classified boards features. I think DS needs to work quicker on a design for there own custom case and make one of the features 10exp slots.

The MM cases are very pricey. I don't know if DS could sell enough of them to get a discount from MM?
My Ascension CYO was around $450.00 to my door, and there was about $250.00 worth of upgrades I did not take. lol Then I have to buy the $100.00 in fans, + $75.00 for fan grills + misc hardware not included, I am into just the case for $650.00.
I am gutting my lian li A7010, and adding another tripple rad, and a third gtx 260 216. lol
I still love the tank like build of the silverstones though!
The lian li's are nice, but much more flimsy than the silverstone, tj07,09 and 10's Edited by justin.kerr - 04 Mar 2009 at 12:45pm |
