Looking for the most creative and effective way to do this, remember, I'm not mounting a SSD, I'm mounting a HDD. It's a Seagate 500GB 7200RPM hdd that might come with my laptop, and I'm thinking about using it as a primary, system-interchangable storage drive for whether I'll be on my laptop or desktop. As in, I store all files on it, and I just pop it back and forth depending on which system I'm using. Anyways, right now, I'm considering using this:

with a cooling fan, this

PREFERABLY, I want a toolless adapter that'll fit into a standard 3.5" form factor, with correctly placed SATA plugs. This is because I have a case that has hot-swap hard drive caddies, and I want to be able to easily swap out the drive without any tool hassles. The adapter I mentioned is pretty much that, the only thing that worries me is airflow, even though it has vents andi f I install that cooling fan.
