Waiting for my system to arrive and have purchased a thermaltake 900 D on the side. I want to build a system in that case with my son. I want to take the components currently coming in that lumos and move them to the 900 D. I have studied both cases and feel it will be a fairly straight forward swap. Does anyone have any thoughts on pitfalls I could run into? The only thing I’m unsure of is the hydrolux LITE cooling system.
Thanks. Pax Et Bonum |

That is a good project but Take a lot of pictures of the system (front and back and detailed) before you take it apart so you know where everything goes. As to the cooler, I don't think that it has QDs (quick disconnects), so maybe if you remove the radiator/pump unit and the mobo as a unit (very carefully) you can keep it connected to the cpu, Otherwise get some alcohol so that you clean the cpu and block thoroughly before you add the new paste. It's like an AIO. Good luck. Remember the pictures.
