It actually was a human that was trying to do the same thing a bot would do.
We've blocked the entire IP Range where these bots were coming form. Let me know if it still continues. We'll have this bot spam stuff in full control soon.

just make a captcha in the registration page or do something to make registration unlike other forums of this type.

Well our/my forums get spammed like its going out of style, and nothing but a home made script really helps it, they get passed captcha and all kinds of stuff, now indays they even converse with you a bit.

well the thing is they won't target your specific site but many sites at once. so if you make something custom that no other site has then your good.

there are some spammers that post random spam posts occasionally and if you are subscribed by email u get an email for it even tho alex deletes it quick.

Make Captcha Answer page in register step..That can save from the spamming.
