if you read their literature, they use only Retail parts and not OEM versions.  I would assume that would include the software.

Just install OpenOffice.  It's a lot cheaper (free).

Do you know if Open Office works with Vista Premium 64 bit?

I haven't put it completely through the paces yet, but so far it's working on my install of Vista 64-bit.

I'm not sure if it is consider retail or not, but what you get is a DVD Case with the serial no and no disks.  You have to send a request to Microsoft to have the DVDs shipped to you at a minimal cost (around $5-10)

850W PSU/Pro Case
Q6600-G0 2.7GHz
nVidia 680i A1 Revision
4GB 800MHz XMS2
1x500 GB WD, 2x500GB WD RAID-1
2x500GB Ext
nVidia GeForce 8800GTX 768MB
ATI TV Wonder 650
Air Cooled Stage 3

I'd say that's NOT retail.  Is this what you received when you ordered MS Office from DSO with your rig?
